This low-cost camera delivers good quality security surveillance for outdoor locations where basic monitoring or recording is needed around the clock. Equipped with an infrared-cut filter, the camera will automatically switch from color to black and white video dependent on light levels, ensuring optimum image capture 24 hours a day. Integrated IR LED illumination allows the user to view up to 10m of night-vision video footage and 3d noise reduction technology reduces image ''grain'' enhancing overall low light monitoring.

Video motion detection methods within this unit, such as intrusion and tampering alarms, ensure a good level of security surveillance appropriate for smaller locations or home use. Alerts via email and mobile messaging provide flexible remote viewing in addition to simple and effective camera control. The Hikvision Smart audio technology enables the use of two-way audio within the scene, as well as this, users are able to record audio and have the added ability of interactive communication with those in the camera's field of view.

With the use of two common compression formats (H.264 and MJPEG) the user has various options of how they want to handle their data and bandwidth. Recordings can be stored internally or onto a MicroSD card (card not included) which means this camera is ideal for a stand-alone installation.

The unit is powered via PoE meaning power is supplied to the camera through one cable, reducing installation costs and eliminating the need for a separate power supply.
